<xulf>
what do you think about making a sha256 asic chip
<Noxz>
box labelled POISON in his fridge, hah
<Noxz>
xulf, not sure what crypto things are in common intel chips, but I know there are some
<Noxz>
if that did not answer your question, lemme know ;)

yeah, looks like sha256 accel is present in some Intel chips
<berndj>
i smell an interest in bitcoin mining, in which case intel chips won't do (but diy cmos also won't)
<berndj>
xulf, if i'm right and this is about bitcoin mining, i don't think we've even caught up with 1970 in here, in terms of process scale, so 16nm chips is a little unthinkable
<berndj>
maybe if you send money so we can buy cool toys?
<sync>
if you want srs bsnz asics made, write your own sha256 hdl and send it to tmsc
<sync>
fork over some money and you will get chips back
<xulf>
srs bsnz ?
<xulf>
I read that there's companies that convert a FPGA design to ASIC, I was thinking about finding people that made FPGA miners a few years ago
<xulf>
I need to probably find people that know this process already
