Seeing something here a bit unique to JRuby in JSR233 compared to other languages. It appears, at least by default, that it isn't possible to update global variables (and maybe others) in the middle of a script run through the use of the scriptEngine.put.. Are there any known work arounds to this?
<headius[m]>
Can you show me an example?
<headius[m]>
Our 223 logic was implemented a long time ago... It may be that some assumptions we made don't match other languages or don't fit the expectations of 223 users

sure.. would a gist be best?
<headius[m]>
Sure

Netting it out, from within JRuby I invoke a method call that does a put into the ScriptEngine and the variable doesn't show up.. if I rerun the script it does show up... let me get a gist of the ruby code.
