Hi everyone. It is ok to paste a link to a device in Aliexpress to ask your opinion about it for running Libreelec?
<weust>
I think it would be nicer to try and find the link of the manufacturer and the model then a aliexpress link. but that's just me.
<MaDMaLKaV>
well thought, gonna look for it
<MaDMaLKaV>
can't find anything, the device is called mxiii-g ii , it is a s912 device with gigabit ethernet
<MaDMaLKaV>
probably a generic device sold by a lot of brands
<j0nnymoe>
better to probably check the forums to see what works
<j0nnymoe>
then find that model
<MaDMaLKaV>
can't find anything. I have a feeling the dtb for q201 2g gigabit may work, but not sure. Perhaps I will buy anyway as it is pretty cheap and try out, or see if I can figure out how to generate the dtb from the android install
<MaDMaLKaV>
too long since I did that king of stuff, I'm getting old
<chewitt>
sure
<chewitt>
they're all variants of the same thing
<chewitt>
there are some community S912 images in the forums

I suppose it all boils down to get the correct dtb file then, an seems like those should be easy to extract from the android kernel, so I'm gonna try it

Is there any fake TV show library for kodi? I'm doing some tests with mysql and would need large library.

martian67: I'm not sure how you might start ssh, but you might be able to see enough info in your logs in the SMB share that's automatically started. Might not be verbose enough, though, if not turned on debug
<martian67>
cant even get to the point of configuring an SMB share...
<mack->
oh, the initial install isn't going?
<martian67>
nah it installed
<martian67>
i guess ill look here
<martian67>
pretty silly there isnt just a bootloader flag to enable ssh
<martian67>
sigh
<mack->
oh, I thought the samba server started automatically now
