I'm personally using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and the "official" TV Hat. It works really well!

TV shows from the Tuner are recorded by TvHeadEnd on an NFS share... on another Raspberry Pi :P

how's throughput on that setup? I see people praising Pis for this quite a bit, but I worry about trying to record two shows while watching another live, for example.

My Pi used as NFS share is connected via a 100 Mbps link and recording a movie doesn't use much bandwidth
