i am looking to help someone out on some x3 based devices and noticed the 9.2 still have the amlogic projects yanked but seen the masters still have so i thought i would just ask to make sure

<buzzmarshall>
while i got your attention one more thing
<buzzmarshall>
has anyone ever looked at migrating to a yocto style build system? just curious as i noticed from following na's stuff aways back that kinda perked my interest in learning to use that framework
<buzzmarshall>
seeing as i started before le and the rest have always done things the old way but for years followed your build system but as it keeps evolving have been looking at things like yocto and was just curious if anyones gone down that road at all

OpenEmbedded should work
<chewitt>
I have the impression that it lags behind a little on kernels and huge patch-sets etc.
<chewitt>
but that's mostly because the maintainer only nags me for a link to something that works every 3-4 months
<chewitt>
or if you want to go more desktop, Armbian is well done

LE's build system is about as good as it's ever been; pretty efficient these days

I think OpenBricks is still around .. which is where the LE build-system has its origins
