I'm trying to use irrecord to record an lircd configuration for a remote control, but apparently the device tree overlay for the IR receiver (gpio-ir) doesn't work with irrecord anymore as this answer suggests https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/a/112378
<pkill9>
the links in that answer provide a patch to update irrecord to work with gpio-ir
<pkill9>
my question is, how can I use this patched irrecord in libreelec?
<pkill9>
i'll try recording the configuration with another OS and copy it to libreelec, hopefully that will work, but it would be good if it worked directly in libreelec

isnt netflix content served by akamai's CDNs?
<GNU\colossus>
they have their own PoPs with most ISPs and at exchanges. but I guess its possivble that they use akamai an other CDNs as fallbacks, or as alternatives in regions where they do not have their own infra.
<chewitt>
about 50% of the world's media services use akamai
<chewitt>
either as a CDN provider or security layer

pkill9: I like my Harmony Hub remote. The remote itself is RF to its hub, which communicates via IR to the AV setup.
<mack->
my model doesn't have a full keyboard available, but I haven't checked new models available.

I'm having so much packet loss right now, I can't even check Logitech's site.
