Inode: Thanks, so with this default it's not so high, with PLL6 it seems that you may be able to get 200MHz as APB1_CLK this would give 12.5Mb/s.
<ajeandet>
I would be happy to know if somebody already tried this.

_massi has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds]
_massi has joined #linux-sunxi
<ajeandet>
Inode: For now I have a soc on my FPGA based on GAISLER's GRLIB, it provides an UART IP which acts as a master on the soc bus. SPI might be used later and would be fast if it allows dual or quad IOs.
<ajeandet>
Inode: My first setup would be based on UART but may change later to a faster bus.

a1d3s: and what about you? are you trying to get mali working with devicetree?
<ssvb>
adj_: it includes the last public snapshot of lima and is modified not to depend on the proprietary shader compiler
<ssvb>
adj_: instead it has the pre-compiled shader blobs, generated by the experimental open source shader compiler
<adj_>
that's that code also enough to compile and run lima driver?
<adj_>
is that code
<ssvb>
it includes the lima driver code in its source tree
<adj_>
ok
<adj_>
thanks, will try this weekend
<ssvb>
the end result is that you can just compile the code and run it without worrying about any dependencies in the userland, which may be good for testing the mali kernel module

ssvb: nope (well, my 5V power supply connector doesn't really count as a "shield")

I'm not sure how many will work with 3.3V IO and the slightly dodgy mapping of pins in some cases...
