Well, maybe not. After cpuburn got the cores shut down, I stopped it and the script re-enabled the cores, but now I'm at 480MHz--which it never went down to before and there is ~25% user time and the rest is system--there is no idle CPU time.

willmore: At least with NanoPi M1 it's even worse. According to their fex file they don't switch between two different VDD_CPUX voltages so overheating problems will happen there more often.

With btrfs snapshots (they're writeable) you can start to create one OS image for 10 different sun7i boards, then create 10 snapshots, do 'image personalisation' in a few seconds and have 10 OS images afterwards that need the storage space of 1 + 10 MB

With all the caching stuff it takes now on my build host ~6 minutes to create a whole desktop OS image from scratch. That means 60 minutes for 10 different OS images. And I want to reduce the time to 6:10 using btrfs

tkaiser: First impression - faster boot time and LEDs are overtaken by some driver (RED constant on, GREEN heartbeat), suspend/wake up - still broken for me

alain_: This build stuff I was talking about is about supporting a few more boards (don't know how much exactly). But being able to test new builds at least for sunxi boards in an automated fashion and build them in less time is important since then you can focus on the important issues: testing ;)

jernej: Just had a look: Almost 10,000 downloads http://mirror.igorpecovnik.com/stats.html#requests but just a few complaints. And these turned out to be the usual 'I chose to use the most crappy SD card ever lying around' issues

jernej: I interpreted the download stats wrong! Just a few hundred downloads for 5.05 but still no complaints.

jernej: Well happened by mistake since back then I adopted ssvb's dvfs settings in my 'fix-thermal-problems.sh' script for H3 distros but for whatever reasons the dvfs settings from my tests were adopted by Armbian.

At least I'm responsible for since I thought "let's collect some feedback'. With the wrong settings for OPi One it worked. People started to complain immediately regarding stability issues.
