i know nobody cares about mini-itx boards here. but our evk baseboard has a full size pcie connector if ever needed
<tkaiser>
beeble: Yes, it's not M.2 but since there seem to be no PCIe cards available for this slot (only SSDs) this is IMO the better choice. So without a converter...
<beeble>
tkaiser: m2 has the problem of different keying. but there are m2 wifi cards available
<beeble>
but it's hard to do a fits-all with the small form factors
<tkaiser>
E key. Interesting. Anyway, Wi-Fi with RK3399 can also be done with SDIO 3.0
<beeble>
looks like there is a sdio wifi chip already mounted
<tkaiser>
Yep, dual-band/dual-antenna.

so i would have gone with a m2 m-key probably

yes probably. overlooked the sim slot

<zoobab>
for me those pins looks like good candidates to be remapped to GPIO pins

So for sure more than 500 mA, unless you want a useless board.

The question is how much current is capable of delivering in host mode to be used as an UPS.
<Thedemon007>
you need host mode or only feed? maybe u can try use VCC-5V and gnd for feed VCC-5V say is a 2000MA

57/5000

now with the h6 brief where the Video Engine goes with the label of "Allwinner Phoenix 3.0 VE Engine" matching the unique occurrence in the A20 datasheet, this do makes believe that "Phoenix" is the actual name of the hardware and that wiki should be updated, but again there is mystery as in the A20 datasheet the label was also "Phoenix 3.0", both "3.0"
<MoeIcenowy>
if it's not 3.0 maybe libvdpau-sunxi will totally die ;-)
<Thedemon007>
miasma, i install deb with firmware but wifi no working... Keep trying

"3.0" is part of the name?

nove: I think they kept the basical design so it's always 3.0
<MoeIcenowy>
2.0 and 1.0 may appear before they enter ARMv7

that does sound like an accomplishment of some kind
<TheLinuxBug>
The difference between ESPRESSObin and A20 is ... night and day
<TheLinuxBug>
SATA performance I mean
<tkaiser>
TheLinuxBug: With kernel 4.10.8 performance was great, I downgraded then to 4.4.59 maintained by Marvell/Solid-Run and performance dropped a lot. And it's not SATA performance but a hard network limit since I enabled transparent file compression and 'NAS performance' remained identical (highly compressible data)
