<somlo> This only works for the nexys4ddr, but I think I'm finally on to the relationship between the various moving parts in where the various pieces of the test pattern go during read leveling: https://pastebin.com/u2ABky30
<somlo> I'll now try to cook up a general patch using the various alignment, chunk-size, etc. #defines
<somlo> ^^ I meant it only works on the nexys4ddr, and only for 32-bit csr-data-width, to be precise :)

<_florent_> somlo: ok great, now that you figured out things, getting something generic should not be too complicated (i'm happy helping on that)
<somlo> _florent_: trying something right now, but I can't test write_leveling or the sdrrdbuf/sdrrderr/sdrwr functions, as they get #ifdef'd out in my designs
<somlo> but let me first make sure I have something that works generally on read_leveling, then I'll email it to you :)
<_florent_> somlo: indeed, write leveling is probably only used on kintex7/ultrascale, i can do the tests for that

<somlo> _florent_: somewhat unrelated: https://github.com/enjoy-digital/litex/blob/master/litex/soc/software/bios/sdram.c#L207 should print "sdrwr" :)
