zc706: the cpu behaves normally but few and only small packets seem to hit the wire. I've been running a lot of experiments with no success so far. :(

whitequark: in glasgow, the chips on the input clamp to ground but not to VIO, right?
<sb0>
and I can connect a 5V signal when VIO=3.3V without funny effects?
<electronic_eel_>
sb0: which rev of glasgow do you have?
<sb0>
c1
<electronic_eel_>
in c1, there is no kind of bus hold or pullup/down on by default
<electronic_eel_>
you can set vio to 3v3 and connect up to 5v, when the pin is set to input
<electronic_eel_>
but when you set the pin to output high, then vio may rise above the programmed 3v3
<electronic_eel_>
if you connect a low impedance 5v signal to the pin, I mean
<sb0>
okay yes it's input
<sb0>
thanks
