16:46 <kinkinkijkin> chrome, curiously enough, didn't actually hang the system *until* i tried loading youtube, i tried holding the browser still at the new tab page for a while and no hangs

16:47 <kinkinkijkin> but the error thrown right before the hang is always the same, believe that was something about surface textures

16:47 <kinkinkijkin> so i think it's probably just something that hasn't been implemented yet and not some horrid bug with the driver on this particular gpu
