so the bug i found where panfrost related stuff noms all the kernel's buffers/caches memory permantly, a quick way to test is to just watch a bluray in mpv as that usually triggers it in less than a minute
<chewitt>
italove the LE git repo has Mali blobs and mali_kbase driver for T860, but both are bit-rotting since we switched to mesa/panfrost a while back
<chewitt>
AFAIK the kbase sources we have aren't patched for 5.9
<chewitt>
and I have no clue about Rockchip stuff
<chewitt>
apart from that, let me know if I can be helpful :)

purringChaos: i think the "drm/shme-helpers: Fix dma_buf_mmap forwarding bug" is what fixed it in stable. its in 5.9.5+

hello, sorry if it has been discussed before, but has anyone managed to mali_kbase kernel module working on 5.9 series ? getting it compiled properly is trivial, but it keep faulting

I'm trying to move batocera (buildroot based) to 5.9 series without much luck on Amlogic boards, while it's perfectly fine on 5.8 series mainline + LibreElec patches
