17:51 <JacobWeisz[m]> In my setup I'm actually forwarding through a double NAT setup and all... But yeah, you may need to port forward on both your modem and your router if they're separate devices.

18:02 <profetik777> I think it is the last place that sorta-techies get lost...is the porting/networking stuff...getting that sorted is half the battle...baking in security is the true challenge....not sure baking in wireguard stuffs could help with hardening while also convenient networking setup...

18:21 <JacobWeisz[m]> I use GitHub and email for mine. Email setup you'll probably want to pursue anyways a bit for notifications and sharing/invites.

18:24 <JacobWeisz[m]> Yeah, I set up Sendgrid on mine. Did the free tier and then mostly have forgotten about it. :P

18:25 <JacobWeisz[m]> I think the main issue with personal email accounts is that they tend to be very restrictive on who the emails are from and the display name for that, as spam prevention.
