<sacarlson> I don't know what changed from yestarday to today but nothing I do can make stellar-core fail today. I try to make it force fail to fully test auto_reset_stellar_core.rb but I can't get it to fails, IP changes with vpn many times. reset my adsl box all was able to recover without a problem. I didn't change anything on my side with stellar-core other than just monitor it. maybe my ISP is good to me

<scott> I’ve been working on some improvements to horizon’s transaction submission system, and have really improved the rate you can send transactions to it:
<stellar-slack>
<scott> about 10/sec sustained over 5+ minutes
<stellar-slack>
<jed> it does the reordering for you now?
<stellar-slack>
<scott> yeah
<stellar-slack>
<jed> awesome
<stellar-slack>
<scott> it needs some cleanup, but the bottleneck is now back at horizon-importer
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> other than when horizon is being spamed when do we presently get those kind of rates? that should make it stable for some time to come I would think

<epsilon> Hey fellas, the "How Digital Money Works" (Stacker presentation) at the org's Learn link is being cock-blocked due to a bad cert. Maybe newsbound changed servers or what-have-you. /fyi
