<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> @scott did you ever add the feature to show what version of stellar-core your running on horizon and the status of it are? as my attempts with stellar-core on live seems to fail with several version I've tried so far
<djc> trying to "upgrade" my account; apparently never activated recovery; and appear not to remember my password; is there any way to recover my account? failing that, is there way to disable further email pertaining to my account?
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> djc what website address did you try with your upgrade and when?
<djc> sacarlson: launch.stellar.org
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> djc the site seems to be in some strange state but I can still login to it and it still shows my present already converted account balance. I would try again on monday
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> djc they just did a software upgrade on stellar-core on friday that to me seems to have temp broken some stuf
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> but I can say that Stellar Live transactions from horizon are working just fine at present. I tested it with my wallet app with two native XLM transaction of 1 XLM each with no problems

<stellar-slack> <scott> @sacarlson: version information has been on horizon several weeks at least. check out the root resource: https://horizon-testnet.stellar.org/, there is a `horizon_version` key
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> cool my man
<stellar-slack> <bartek> > djc the site seems to be in some strange state but I can still login to it and it still shows my present already converted account balance. I would try again on monday So why do you think it's in a strange state?
<stellar-slack> <scott> alright, back to saturday :) cheers!
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> bartek it was me seeing it diverted but maybe only due to not having added https to the site name?
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> yes @scott I see it now "core_version": "v0.3.0-5-gf5b9f4e", just what we needed thanks
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> but the state of the stellar-core might also be useful
<stellar-slack> <bartek> What do you mean by "diverted"?
<stellar-slack> <sacarlson> bartek I just tried it again now and no longer get diverted. it gave me some note on the top of the page but still allowed login
