<richiela> bitterx is another option ;)

<richiela> err bittrex

<sacarlson> I'll do a quick look and see who has the best price of the three

<sacarlson> anyone have a simple example of streaming websocket balances using js-stellar-sdk? I'm presently looking at code from https://github.com/TbLtzk/Centaurus as my best example so far but I'm having problem reading that part of his code
<stellar-slack>
<powderfan> @fim: yes, if you have centaurus 2.x then it's an XLM address on the live network.
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> no I'm more looking at where you start the effect listener at or around attachToPaymentsStream
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> I'm attempting to start with a simplified version that sends output to console to start
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> is my translation but fail to understand how to start the paymentsEventSource as I'm very new to js
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> and as far as I've seen your code is the best working example I know

<sacarlson> ok made the first step using even more of your code powderfan
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> now getting the results
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> but it seems I had to take out this part of code to make it work for me powderfan

In last 6hours or so I get 'Internal Server Error' for testnet. Is something going on?
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> yes I found my error in failure to declair paymentsEventSource first. now with that added I needed almost no change to your code

<sacarlson> I have yet to figure out how I plan to monitor my destination account balance with streams as I had been before in my wallet, but at this point I'll just leave that to hiting the update button
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> at least now I can see some has sent me funds

<sacarlson> akkukis I've been using testnet here with horizon for much of the day without any problems

sacarlson, found the problem. My script was sending empty POST request.
<akuukis>
I think it should return descriptive error, for example 'Empty POST body'.
<stellar-slack>
<sacarlson> I'm happy to say mine is also working using mostly powerfan's effects streaming method. It's ugly but it's working http://zipperhead.ddns.net/stellar_min_client.html for the prototype testing version
<stellar-slack>
<scott> FYI: I’ll be rolling out a change to horizon-testnet today that changes hrefs to be protocol-relative urls. I’ll leave it on testnet over the weekend so that people have a chance to update their integrations. I would expect it to be rolled out to live horizon early next week
