21:12 <stellar-slack> <eva> Kind of. It might be helpful to think about it this way: gateways integrate with the Stellar network to manage customer accounts enable transactions between that entity and the network. Kind of like an “on-ramp” to the network. Does that make sense?

21:18 <stellar-slack> <eva> Cash *can* be involved, but doesn’t necessarily have to be. For example. if there were a Paga gateway, you could just a Paga account to make payments. But if the gateway only accepted cash (or you didn’t have any digital accounts) a cash payment is also possible.
