Didn't find any info about minimal os requirements or known to work minimal versions used for testing. Such info or even better an environment test script would be helpful for new adopters. Did I miss that or doesn't exist?

I am with the MPI for Security and Privacy in Bochum, Germany, where we have been looking into FPGA security for a while now. We are kinda trying to push towards open-source hardware recently and thus want to lay bare the security implications going along with proprietary hardware and its design flows. For that reason, we are looking
<sf-slack4> for _*specific*_ products that have FPGAs (preferably Xilinx ones) build into them and are in some way deployed in the real-world. We do know the areas in which FPGAs are used, sadly though we cannot just buy stuff until we find what we are looking for. This is especially the case since the actually interesting items (the ones with actual impact, you know...) are usually not in the range of a few hundred bucks. Also, this not
