Didn't find any info about minimal os requirements or known to work minimal versions used for testing. Such info or even better an environment test script would be helpful for new adopters. We are kinda trying to push towards open-source hardware recently and thus want to lay bare the security implications going along with proprietary hardware and its design flows. We do know the areas in which FPGAs are used, sadly though we cannot just buy stuff until we find what we are looking for. This is especially the case since the actually interesting items (the ones with actual impact, you know...) are usually not in the range of a few hundred bucks. Also, this not
