I also picked up a multi-voltage UART to USB dongle to help with using UART, as before that, I'd only been using an Arduino with the reset pin grounded to do all my UART communication. The PR is waiting to be merged in the repo right now, and after that, I plan to add support for the Nexys4DDR to the Litex symbiflow-example
