<tat->
github is probably hosted in the us?
<tat->
or do they have a cdn?
ius has joined #teamhacksung
<Espenfjo>
cdn would make sense
<luminoso>
tat-, github is hosted by rackspace
<luminoso>
and rackspace is all about cdn
<Espenfjo>
rackspace, yesh
<tat->
ah
<Entropy512>
except I'm not sure if you can easily make a cdn for git...

<ius>
I don't think so. Get great speeds from it, even though it's IP resolves to the US
<ius>
16 github.com (207.97.227.239) 92.054 ms 91.800 ms 91.975 ms

it's possible to have good latency and speeds to a transcontinental server
<Entropy512>
less common but possible
<Espenfjo>
All about peering
<tat->
oh, nordunet got their own link between EU and US
<tat->
uninett->nordunet->rackspace
<ius>
tat-: How's the latency for that? I'm routed via above.net
<tat->
120ms
<tat->
from .no
<Espenfjo>
I go through telia form .no, 120ms as well
<Espenfjo>
Same from work.. hmm... I odd that cogentco isnt shorter

<squadzone>
?
<squadzone>
Stickyboy, did.you.know something about bcm21553
<squadzone>
?
<stickyboy>
squadzone: Nope :\
<squadzone>
I have a galaxy y, and bml is locked so i cant flash cwm :(
<squadzone>
Im see recovery and boot its merged, can we make cwm merged with boot.img?
<stickyboy>
squadzone: That's like Galaxy S II and S I. One boot partition, no recovery.
<squadzone>
Yea, so? I must try sgs method?
<stickyboy>
Yah. It's kinda complex I think.
<squadzone>
Mm
<squadzone>
Will try again,
<squadzone>
Lol
<squadzone>
My lcd blinking like a disco lamp, i did hack into bml, Lol
<ius>
How did you solve that for sgs? One way I could think of is by hacking init (different initrc based on kernel cmdline)
<ius>
squadzone: Did anyone produce a working recovery image? If so, was adbd reused?
<ius>
I had some trouble with a source-compiled adbd, Samsung is doing something fishy (their own binary works flawless)
<squadzone>
Ius, this new device, and have no permanent cwm, we did a hack, xD

squadzone: How do you mean? I'm aware of the fact that it has just a single partition for an Android boot image
<squadzone>
We make a cwm parts to work with stock recovery, after we flash custom.kernel, so it will have function like cwm has, but not permanent, we must did this for every boot into recovery
<ius>
I'm not sure what you mean. Anyway, do like Samsung does, hack it into init.rc and load a different init.rc based on kernel cmdline
