<andlabs>
you can totally put a car stereo tape drive in a computer
<andlabs>
now go back and time and do that with the SX64
<Stilett0>
:D
<Stilett0>
it had state of the art RS232 control, woooow (that was actually pretty late for RS232 in a consumer product when USB had pretty much taken over)
<KitsuWhooa>
it probably didn't even use serial commands
<KitsuWhooa>
probably had something like RTS hooked up to play :p
<andlabs>
there was going to be a dual drive model of the SX64 which is why the big hole is there
<andlabs>
but when that was cancelled they should have added the tape drive
<andlabs>
unless tapes were already dead in the US market by then
<andlabs>
also that internal drive has RS232 control? what?
<andlabs>
or is that really an external drive?
