<trabucayre> disasm[m]: Yep. Your board allows to have access to SSPI pins (this device seems not have MSPI)
<trabucayre> I just regret the MODE pin is configured through a resistor instead of jumper :)
<disasm[m]> The density is that board is so high, I had to use RGB LED for the DONE signal because it's the only small LED I have :D
<disasm[m]> But jumper is definitely a good idea, for another board
<disasm[m]> When SSPI/MSPI is useful? For booting from external SPI flash?
<trabucayre> MSPI -> external flash
<trabucayre> SSPI -> bitstream is loaded using from external device (CPU) using SPI
<disasm[m]> I see
<disasm[m]> It's also unfortunate that this chip doesn't have USB 2.0 pins in this package, but I couldn't find a chip with USB from the local supplier
<trabucayre> it's not possible to, more or less, use any pins to emulate an USB device with a Gowin
<trabucayre> ?
<disasm[m]> Sure it's possible, but only FullSpeed. However, this chip contains a HighSpeed PHY inside
<disasm[m]> Or, one can connect an external ULPI PHY, like on the LUNA board
<trabucayre> Yep. But luna may be used with others FPGA (icebreaker, tinyfpga, ...)
