<trabucayre> pepijndevos: between github sponsors and patreon, which one has smallest level of fees ?
<pepijndevos> trabucayre, github has no fees and pays out directly to my bank account
<pepijndevos> Basically the only reason for Patreon is that a lot of people already have it so it's very low-effort to add another pledge if you already set everything up
<pepijndevos> But yea they charge fees and then pay out to paypal which is more fees, and then transferring to my bank account is more fees :((
<trabucayre> okay so it's better to use github to sponsor someone
<kbeckmann> oh, didn't know there was such a difference between the platforms.
<trabucayre> the only advantage of paypal is to avoid (heavy) bank fees
<kbeckmann> mmh, there are so many hidden fees when it comes to international banking
<trabucayre> yep
