morning, I think IPFS Desktop uninstalled itself with the update
<grumbel>
ipfs ls /ipfs/bafybeihuide4jjcypb35tyrgmnavpmgw2poomi7yrebz4y2msmh76ec2ie/ubuntu
<grumbel>
One is showing names like "92dist" the other is showing "dist".
<grumbel>
What's up with the two leading characters?

Seems to be due to "Hash array mapped trie", object type is 'hamt-sharded-directory' instead of 'directory'
jeanluc6 has left #ipfs [#ipfs]
<grumbel>
How do I inspect the object type from command line? 'ipfs object get' is just giving me a "Data" block, the web interface gives me "Object {type: "hamt-sharded-directory", data: Buffer[30], blockSizes: Array[0]}"

<odisseus[m] "Woah, now I see a lot of spam in"> just make sure that you don't try to hunt a performance problem with the logs. Printing all this debug information takes a lot of resources. :)
<RubenKelevra[m]>
I've rewritten my rsync to ipfs-cluster script and it should be able to handle other stuff than just the archlinux package repo :)
<RubenKelevra[m]>
It will create a folder in the MFS of the local client, and parse the rsync log on each update to delete, update or create files (and their paths) as differential updates. The folder will be published on the cluster afterwards :)
<RubenKelevra[m]>
There are some (major) limitations, since my usecase is quite limited ... for example I'm not sure if it can handle paths with a space in it etc. but it should be a good starting point, if someone is interested to put something from an rsync server to a cluster :)

Hey, any chance someone could hint me in the right direction with my problem? I've got a js-ipfs application adding a file and publishing the cid at an ipns address. From the same node I can resolve the ipns entry but not from any other. If I manually copy over the CID however I can retrieve the file.
