<k-man> i need to type my password for emby into libreelec
<k-man> can i get a remote screen on libreelec somehow? maybe via vnc or somilar?
<k-man> similar
<davu> what's wrong with the GUI?
<k-man> i don't have a keyboard attached to the pri
<davu> do you own a smartphone?
<k-man> RPi
<k-man> ooh
<k-man> i forgot about that method
<davu> ;)
<k-man> that's why i came here :)
<davu> android or ios?
<k-man> so smart people could remind me
<k-man> ios
<davu> ok, I can recommend the official XBMC remote then
<davu> if it's still called like that
<k-man> yes i have it
<davu> but anyway....I guess there's some way you are interacting with LE. A remote? If so, you could also use the on-screen keyboard
<davu> I agree, it's a bit of a PITA to use that, but it's possible
<k-man> davu: yes - except i use secure passwords and the prospect of typing it via a remote made me feel ill
<davu> understandable ;)
<k-man> thanks davu
<davu> yw

<wooster> is it possible to run synergy on libreelec?
fraggle_boate has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<mack-> wooster: doubtful a proprietary software company that doesn't think Raspbian is linux would make a kodi addon so it could work with LibreElec. Even though their system requirements says "Other Linux: probably supported". Would like to see their brains explode when someone shows them a read-only filesystem like LE.
