I would suggest looking into curl version or something else network related. Doubt it is linux version.
<vpeter>
Ah, I see wifi works. Strange thing.
<vpeter>
First check with tcpdump on rpi and on the server at the same time to see what is going on with packets.
<vpeter>
downloading some file from server with curl works?

ive not got a rpi4 so i can't say from my own experience but someone else i know said they had similar issues and swapped out the curl package in 9.2 to the newer one used in the master
<buzzmarshall>
not sure if he had to play with any compile flags or not tho
<buzzmarshall>

Hello
<lrusak>
fengshaun, RPi cannot suspend
<fengshaun>
hmm strange because turning off the tv seems to put the pi in sleep
<Ommand>
is the pi powered by a usb port on the tv?
<fengshaun>
no
<fengshaun>
wall adapter
<Gierthi>
anyone here also using the pi4 already? 1080p with adjustable framerate works but when enabled it produces glitches/hiccups in the image exactly every 5 minutes (hevc and avc). That does no happen when disabled (so everything runs in 60hz), but that always feels a little bit less smooth. sometimes the hiccup is just some tearing/glitch for half a second or the image just cuts to black for a second (but the audio continues as normal). The normal debugging

fengshaun, the pi just turns off
<lrusak>
you can't turn it on again without unplugging and replugging the power
<fengshaun>
lrusak, I think kodi is the one making the changes. it's not suspending, just kodi can control the tv's on/off status
<fengshaun>
I think misunderstanding on my part :S
