mack-, Hi, I was able to fix my LibreElec not by doing something clever but by sheer hardwork. Kept on redoing some of things like scan over and again. Finally its working.TBH I really don't what I did to get it to work except doing the same things over an again.
<Lisa1902190>
Has anyone encountered a situation like this - You don't know why is it working other than rebooting and rescanning a 100 times.?
<Lisa1902190>
Now I get the "Bit Continuity Error" when the RPi streams Youtube and LIVE TV.

It causes the stuttering....It actually points to lack of CPU power but this was never the issue, I used it to stream to 4 devices without any issues.....

Any ideas how all of a sudden CPU power is found to be inadequate

Lisa1902190: without going through lots of troubleshooting steps, it might be hard to find a cause, especially since you said earlier that nothing has changed. It could be anything from a software update (that is, somethign really did change) to something environmental (like overheating).
andy-burns has joined #libreelec
<Lisa1902190>
Possibility of software update is also ruled out. I had saved the screenshots of TVHEADEND configuration... so everything was same.
<Lisa1902190>
Overheating ? Thats an angle I have not explored. Will it slow the processing power
<mack->
in a heartbeat
<mack->
the CPU throttling should have an entry in the system log.

I am doing a find for Throttling. Cant find it in the Kodi.log nor the DMSEG... Would there another place/file to find this?? Is this entry called by any other name?
<mack->
if it returns zero (0x0), then you haven't throttled since the last boot.

<buzzmarshall>
bit continuity errors usually mean something along the lines of the stream packets continuity counter has fudged up
<buzzmarshall>
could be because a packet arrived out of sequence or was missed
<buzzmarshall>
not sure why that would bog down the cpu tho
<buzzmarshall>
unless somehow its trying to recover or wait for the slow or missing packet, but then you'd think it would really stall the stream
<buzzmarshall>
i don't have a rpi but i do know the dvb spec and how transport streams work and no the spec calls for a continuity counter in the packets
<buzzmarshall>
not sure if thats your issue but seeing your comment on the bit continuity error made me respond as typically thats what that would mean on other devices
