Is there a way in LE to get access to a console if the LE box has no network to ssh into the box?
<mack->
rdorsch: a couple of options: I think console is available with the system-tools addon. Or add "tty" to kernel boot paramaters and control-alt-f3 will be available

mack-: For the system-tools addon, I need network, correct?
<rdorsch>
Can I simply mount the sdcard on a normal linux system and add tty to /flash/syslinux.conf ?

Good morning!
<simonl>
I'm trying to create installation media, but the creator application doesn't work properly for me
<simonl>
It's probably because I use sway and therefore don't have a bog standard X11 setup. Anyway, is there an option to just dd and iso to the usb stick instead?
<simonl>

<simonl>
ah, I finally managed to get it to run.
<simonl>
I would have saved probably about an hour if there was just an iso though.
<simonl>
While I'm here I'll just take the time to say thanks for the software, I'm a long time user and this is the first annoyance I've come across I think. And given my sligthly esoteric setup that can be forgiven :-)
<simonl>
oh, right, the solution: Allow root to connect to the x11 compatibility server: xhost +si:localuser:root
<simonl>
then remove with xhost -si:localuser:root when done
