<chewitt> ndufresne: correct place for keymaps is the kernel .. v4l-utils will then pick those maps up
<chewitt> then dts for a device that shipped with a specific remote can magically work OOTB
<chewitt> btw, one of the challenges with remotes is that Kodi supports a subset of the input-event-codes.h list

<hexdump0815> narmstrong: when i want to try your lima/panfrost trees, is there any special xorg.conf or xserver required? or will it all be handled transparently by the mesa lib with just the regular x11 setup?
<xdarklight> ccaione: I cannot edit linux-meson.com, when I try to submit my changes I'm being redirected to https://www.netsons.com/403/ - can you please have a look at this?
<narmstrong> hexdump0815: X11 support is in really early stage, but you shouldn’t need any special conf, it should with with the modesetting Xorg driver

<xdarklight> narmstrong: iirc you wanted to disable the DW HDMI CEC controller at some point. if that's the case, you might be interested in https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/20190324212144.3652-1-jernej.skrabec@siol.net/T/ (if not then apologies for the noise)
