<narmstrong> repk: nice work ! We are interested ! Will you submit it back to ATF when cleaned up ?
<repk> narmstrong: yes, that was the plan
<repk> also while doing that I've met a non documented set of registers that appears to control a DMA engine capable of doing SHA computation. Do you think it would be nice to have that on linux or aarch64's SHA engine would be enough/more efficient

<ldevulder> repk, great work! I will try to try this within the next 2 weeks on my khadas vim board

<narmstrong> repk: we have a WiP crypt accelerator driver
<narmstrong> but aml does not implement sha acceleration in their driver
<narmstrong> but it seems sha256 is available

<brads> narmstrong: I have tried the g12b-odroid-n2-integ branch on the N1 but I received emmc errors https://pastebin.com/aQw480T6
<brads> Im using a similar emmc card to what I was on the g12b branch but this one is 64Gb rather than 16Gb
<brads> Unsure if it is kernel or emmc as yet
<brads> sorry that should have been Odroid N2 (not N1)
<repk> narmstrong: I was referring to something like this https://github.com/hardkernel/linux/blob/odroidn2-4.9.y/drivers/amlogic/crypto/aml-sha-dma.c. I use something similar (using polling instead of interrupt) to do sha256 hash as bl31 appears to need it to boot SCP because vendor's bl31 also use that
<narmstrong> repk: sha is not enabled on gxl, only on axg/g12X
<repk> narmstrong: you mean in linux right ? Because it does work on gxl
<narmstrong> yes in linux
<repk> ok right
<narmstrong> brads: you should add rootwait, emmc is probed too late
<Xogium> lovely kernel panic
<Xogium> :D

<brads> im missing network but I might need to select the drivers on top of defconfig this time
<memeka> brads: all worked for me
<brads> memeka are you running a ramdisk? (uInitrd)
<memeka> Although I did not use eth, but it was showing in kernel log
<memeka> Yes
<memeka> I use same setup as hk
<memeka> Image.gz + uinitrd
<brads> im not which might be the difference
<memeka> Minimally changed their boot.ini
<brads> I am building in some modules to see if it helps
<brads> Adding in the Realtek PHY & STMMAC drivers built rather than modules solved it with no ramdisk
<brads> I already had the g12b MDIO driver built in
