well, IF it is actually a bug.. then a very bad one, as it heavy drains the battery. and such a "bug" should just not happen on a "privacy sensible" app...

I've lost hours today because the C# EF stack doesn't work that way... so a circular foreign key relation and the eager loading leads to classic stack overflow.. so stupid

the core issue of EF is that it can only cache direct primary key lookups... it can't emulate/execute database queries, so all queries get handed through to the database in any case
