@litghost is there a way to get node name from node_pkey?
<andrewb1999>
I'm trying to find names of nodes that cross the ROI boundary to put in the design json
<litghost>
andrewb1999: There is not currently. You can query Vivado, via "get_nodes -of [get_wires <wire name>]"
<litghost>
andrewb1999: I believe there is an algorithm that Vivado uses, but it isn't something we've implemented
<litghost>
andrewb1999: For nodes that have exactly 1 source pip, I believe the node name is the wire name of that output wire from the source pip
<litghost>
andrewb1999: However in the event that there are multiple sources (e.g. long wires), I'm not sure what is done

<andrewb1999>
litghost: Hmm okay. So that node name information just isn't available in prjxray at all? Is there some way we could just strip it out of Vivado and build it into the database?
<litghost>
andrewb1999: We could extend tileconn.json to do that, maybe a list of wires that are node names
<andrewb1999>
litghost: Okay that would be useful. I want to continue defining partition regions by node name for stability (instead of using something like node pkey).
