<Luzifer>
jbenet: sorry for the late response to 1537… Didn't see your response before I checked today to add more details… :(
<jbenet>
Luzifer oh no worries!
<jbenet>
btw-- could you check webui for you on master? i believe i fixed it
<Luzifer>
you did
<jbenet>
if it's ok, i'll just push out 0.3.7 (or 0.3.6.1)
<jbenet>
ok sweet
<jbenet>
i'll see if i can knock out a couple more bugs
<Luzifer>
let me pull the really latest but its currently working
<Luzifer>
hm "ERRO[12:41:18:000] Path Resolve error: no link named "fontawesome-webfont.woff2" under QmWjympWW8hpP5Jgfu66ZrqTMykUBjGbFQF2XgfChau5NZ module=core/server"
<Luzifer>
but its working
<Luzifer>
hm but it still needs that `env API_ORIGIN="*" ipfs daemon` thingy
<Luzifer>
aaaaand… "2015/08/02 12:43:53 http: Accept error: accept tcp4 127.0.0.1:5001: too many open files; retrying in 5ms"
<jbenet>
Luzifer: no-- it should work _without_ the API_ORIGIN=* -- is that not the case for you?
<jbenet>
ugh -- "http: Accept error: accept tcp4 127.0.0.1:5001: too many open files; retrying in 5ms" wonder if that's sockets lingering open and not getting gc-ed
<Luzifer>
oh right. it is working without api-origin… in that case maybe I had a too many fd error and did not see it…
<Luzifer>
strange
<Luzifer>
in that case only the too many fd stuff and the missing font file are open
<jbenet>
ok thanks. i think a webui update may be in order for that, i think it got fixed some time ago.
<Luzifer>
about 1537: I see that nearly every time the container gets an update on dockerhub… at latest 30min after it is refreshed on my host, stopped and started with the new image… and it looks like it does not quit within 20s and is killed
<lgierth>

<voxelot>
how could i go about running a web server that users connect to that servers their data from ipfs?
<voxelot>
is there a way to control multiple ipfs nodes or 'accounts' (node id's) from the same daemon
<voxelot>
i see the javascript code that starts a daemon server so i assume i can have a node.js server that executes that and starts up the daemon, just not sure how to handle multiple users

Luzifer: i was almost a missing person on a river!
<Luzifer>
whyrusleeping: nah… don't do that… after 4 hours we went back to the base without finding the missing person… on group of divers continued the search at two locations but most likely that person will not be seen alive… :(
<Luzifer>
not that kind of alert one wants to get on a sunday afternoon…
<whyrusleeping>
:/
<Luzifer>
yep. kind of ruins the day…
<whyrusleeping>
any idea what happened?
<whyrusleeping>
i also thought you were on vacation
<Luzifer>
three guys swam out, a huge ship made some waves and only two came back… that's the version we heard when the alert came in…
<whyrusleeping>
oh, so this was a giant river?
<Luzifer>
fire fighter is (sadly) not my job… in my day job i'm a boring sysadmin / dev / full-stack-engineer / site reliability engineer / whatever I'm currently doing in IT…
<whyrusleeping>
oooh, so being on vacation doesnt mean a break from the firefighter stuff.. got it
<Luzifer>
jep as a volunteer fire fighter you're on-call 24/7/365…
<Luzifer>
(wait that makes no sense… 24/365 or 24/7/52)
