hi, i have a wetek hub running libreelec, but I've noticed that the gigabit ethernet isn't performing well. iperf3 shows <30Mbps (with libreelec running iperf3 server), and <4Mbps (with libreelec as the iperf3 client). Using the exact same cables to a desktop PC gets me >900Mbps. Any ideas how I can improve it?

selm: remuxing to mkv takes little time or cpu, with makemkv, mktoolnix, handbrake, etc, and can be done with batch files. It's just file wrappers. Most home theater/streaming software prefers mkv over iso. As a bonus, plex/emby can transcode on the fly if your internet connection to your server isn't big enough to stream the uncompressed data (blu-ray is high bitrate)

I gave up on that long ago :) I'm not sure if it's possible these days. I just caved in and separated out extra content. Most metadata scrapers expect that format anyway.

things like directors/actors voice-over content are just extra tracks, which can be put into the mkv and selected with Audio/language selector in the player.

if I recall correctly, support for multiple video tracks in mkvs is supported in kodi now also. I have none of those, though.
