I am using this RPI as a TVheadend server only. therfore would like to have teh PI headless. installed teh VNC addon and tested it - all works great. now I have rebooted the PI, i get connection refused. I can SSH to the PI ok. how to I get VNC working again?

23:49 <barlowg> sorry, I used the LE USB creator to download and write a new SD card with RPI4 LE9.2.6. put the card into the PI and swiyched on. I then went to add-ons and saw VNC addon. Installed it and then used my desktop PC to conncet using vncviewer - it worked fine. I then shutdown the PI to move it to where it will live, switched it back on. SSH still works but no VNC. I can see the addon in ~/.kodi/addons/service.system.

23:50 <lrusak> hmm, that may work for 9.x, but it won't work for 10.0. I wouldn't recommend using VNC at all

23:53 <barlowg> I was not planning to use it on a frequent basis - i do not use the machine for anything other than a TVheadend server. I thought it would be usefull for checking for updates etc. instead of having to re-connect a screen and keyboard.

23:53 <mack-> I don't think I'd use libreelec to run just a tvh server on. People are always trying to use the wrong tool for the job :) Put buster on that pi, load any services you like.
