From what I can gather chromium devs are compiling there own version of x11 driver (using Mali DDK) in a private repo because it requires a chrome extension eglGetSyncValuesCHROMIUM.

mmind00: yes it provides egl/gles api plus the added extension, however I don't think the extension does much in mali driver because it required for Intel.

jas-hacks: I'm currently trying to determine how this all fits together (xf86-video-armsoc [new one] + libdrm + mali + drm-kernel parts) ... and currently the mali integration binaries are drawing red and green stuff on the background of my xserver but still reporting errors

btw. it looks like my gles problems came in part from the programs I used to test until now (mali_*_integretion_suite from the driver package and openmorrowind (ogre -> egl)) ... es2gears, es2_info and es2tri seem to produce meaningful results :-)
