hum, manage to mount nfs but seems i cant write from rtems..
<
wolfspraul>
kristianpaul: when the day comes that something 'just works', we can all retire happily, I guess :-)
<
lekernel>
kristianpaul, do you get more crashes btw?
<
lekernel>
with NFS... it was pretty unstable when I used it
<
lekernel>
it would easily lock up the system
<
lekernel>
but that might just have been the former ethernet bugs
<
lekernel>
(that being said, the RTEMS NFS and more generally filesystem code isn't extraordinarily brilliant either)

<

of course, with pukeaudio watching a youtube video breaks mp3 playback
<
lekernel>
until you type "killall pulseaudio"
<
kristianpaul>
<3 alsa
<
lekernel>
yeah unfortunately gnome3 forces pukeaudio on you, and kde4 on my machine has an horrible bug that makes it slower and slower when I use it
<
kristianpaul>
once i get a nice replacement for gnome worldclock i'll probably drop it
<
lekernel>
it doesn't work in gnome3 anyway (or at least I couldn't get it to work)
<
lekernel>
unless you enable "fallback desktop"
<
lekernel>
actually the fallback desktop makes a lot of things less slow and more usable
<
kristianpaul>
shame :/
