<Nistur> mornin'
<mtsd> Good morning
<Regenaxer> Hi Nistur, mtsd!
<Nistur> o7
<mtsd> Hi Regenaxer, still doing well?
<Regenaxer> Yes, thanks! All good
<beneroth> Good morning
<Nistur> how is everybody?
<Regenaxer> Hi beneroth
<beneroth> all good here
<beneroth> well I stayed up too late, and got waken up too early by a telephone call
<Regenaxer> oh :)
<beneroth> the mammal need for daily maintenance downtime is annoying me sometimes ;-)

<beneroth> Regenaxer, aw- I just found out that "Cisco Umbrella" webtraffic malware proxy/snakeoil is falsely blocking meeting.itship.ch
<beneroth> that is a snakeoil bullshit-security thing installed in enterprises
<beneroth> (well enterprise networks, not on the clients)
<beneroth> overblocking seems to be a common issue with that service, according to the internet
<beneroth> cisco probably wants users to use their webex video conference software (known to be horrible buggy for 10+ years) instead of jitsi
<Regenaxer> oh!
<Regenaxer> But blocking from/to where?

<beneroth> from inside the company
<Regenaxer> Ah, I see
<beneroth> probably no issue with your clients
<Regenaxer> Here all worked fine
<Regenaxer> Such methods are almost criminal
<Regenaxer> Would be expensive for a european company
<Regenaxer> Wettbewerbsrecht
<beneroth> well no one is forced to use their snakeoil proxy
<beneroth> no legal attack vector
<beneroth> unfortunately
<beneroth> I agree, but this is like US senators cannot be criminalized for insider trading
<Regenaxer> T

<beneroth> woah, Danke für den Link
<beneroth> oh another one
<beneroth> they just fixed a really bad a few days ago
<Regenaxer> yeah
<beneroth> I cannot do without firefox yet, if that one also becomes unusable :(
<beneroth> wenn man nicht alles selber macht :(
<Regenaxer> Indeed
<Regenaxer> I use 50% PilBox, 45% w3m, and 5% Firefox
<beneroth> PilBox is chromium based, so already lost :P
<beneroth> right?
<Regenaxer> yes, WebView
<beneroth> so annoying. Google controls the web now. Mozilla lost their principles.

<beneroth> apparently Mozilla added some annoying animation, instead of fixing their QA process: https://superuser.com/questions/1539855/how-to-disable-address-bar-animation-in-mozilla-firefox-75
