I'm a Windows user, couldn't hazard a recommendation on a Linux editor. :P

But yeah, Sandstorm doesn't have any special structure in place for translation work, just copy the English language translation file, rename it for your language code, and start replacing strings. Submit a PR to add the file.
<drebs>
ocdtr_web, how often are these json files updated?
<ocdtr_web>
drebs: Most recent work on Sandstorm.io hasn't involved UI, so there's not been a lot of significant updates to what needs to be translated.
<drebs>
ocdtr_web, i see. And last question for now: how do i change the language?
<ocdtr_web>
It looks like Kenton has only changed the language in the EN translation file once since i18n was added. And it was just a couple words.
<ocdtr_web>
Currently language is selected based on your browser's settings.
<drebs>
ok, great. thanks for all the info
<drebs>
i'll message those people
<drebs>
... if i can get their emails out of that page
<ocdtr_web>
Sandstorm tries to best match your browser's language options. Some bugs were recently dealt with for it, if you have issues with it, let us know.

Note that if you join the group you can respond to that thread, which should ping them both, or you can look at the GitHub issue linked there, where both are present as well, and you could ping them that way as well.

ocdtr_web, thanks a lot
<ocdtr_web>
No problem. And let me know if there's progress on pt-br translation, obviously there's some decent interest in it, so it'd be a pretty big win to have it added to Sandstorm.
