<d1b2> <mubes> Trouble with gaming mice is generally they're useless for lefties :-( why you'd deliberately reduce your market by 25% continues to befuddle me.
<azonenberg> I'm a lefty but I've learend to do a few things right handed because that's how the world is set up
<azonenberg> mousing being the most notable

<d1b2> <Hardkrash> Lefty here as well, my dad forced me into mousing righty. Logitech trackball for the win.
<d1b2> <Hardkrash> Thanks for the gaming mouse idea.
<azonenberg> I was forced to do it because that's how all the computers i ever used were set up
<d1b2> <TiltMeSenpai> I think there's some gaming mice around now with like replaceable sides and stuff

<d1b2> <Hardkrash> Here is a left handed 20 button mouse. https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-naga-left-handed-edition/RZ01-03410100-R3M1
<d1b2> <Hardkrash> most other options are ambidextrous without the large keypad.
<azonenberg> Nice. The one I have is a logitech "g502 hero" which is very much right handed only
<azonenberg> But like i said i've grown used to mousing right
<d1b2> <mubes> It's incredible how much of the world is set up anti-sinestre. Things you would never think of unless you're affected (like scope controls being to the right of the display for example). For some things it's possible to adapt, so it's a permanent bugbear....but y'know, there are bigger things to get hot under the collar about.
<azonenberg> Yeah as a left handed target shooter my choice in equipment is rather limited
<azonenberg> relatively few rifles have the controls on the "correct" side
<d1b2> <Hardkrash> Let's not get started about power tools... Only thing I'm aware of for left vs right are circular saws, but that not for users, it for applications then need one or the other.
<azonenberg> My M18 circular saw actually has full ambi controls
<azonenberg> other than the blade depth but that's not something i twiddle often enough for it to be a problem
<azonenberg> the safety lever is ambi
<azonenberg> none of my other tools have given me any grief as a southpaw. The angle grinder lets you switch the cross handle to either side
<azonenberg> (side note, is it correct to refer to a right hander as a "northpaw"?)
<d1b2> <TiltMeSenpai> I'm ok assuming all lefthanded people are normal and calling right handed people northpaws. Seems like an entertaining change.
<azonenberg> lol
<d1b2> <TiltMeSenpai> based on a sample size of last ten messages or so, I think us northpaws are outnumbered here anyways 😛
