wq: I haven't been able to find the sc01a yet, I'll let you know. I've found an ym3438 and a couple of cat702 (security circuit of zn), but not the danm votrax
<whitequark>
alright
<Sarayan>
I'm rather annoyed with myself, as you can imagine
<Lord_Nightmare>
you hunting for a physical sc-01a chip?
<Sarayan>
LM: I had one, want to send it to wq, can't find it
<Lord_Nightmare>
did you send that to me, way back when (along with the opl3 on a little carrier)?
<Lord_Nightmare>
back when you sent the sega fd1094
<Lord_Nightmare>
I don't remember, but if i was sent that, I no longer have it (it got passed along to dig or sean a long while ago)
<Sarayan>
I may have, that would explain it
<Sarayan>
dmned
<Sarayan>
would explain where the dig die shot is coming from
<Lord_Nightmare>
I do have an sc-01a on a board that doesn't work, but i believe the sc-01a is intact
<Lord_Nightmare>
there's also a ridiculously expensive sc-01a on ebay
<Sarayan>
That's interesting. The idea is to put a sc01a on the internet, so that we can create any wav we want
<Sarayan>
useful for analysing what's wrong in my simulation, and fun at the same time
<Lord_Nightmare>
its been done before, not sure if any of the servers are still up though
<ValleyBell>
cr1901_modern: Yes, you're not supposed to build the "emu" folder by its own. You build "everything" and select what you need using the CMake options the project provides.
<Lord_Nightmare>
Sarayan: if you want i can email dave @ riana and see if he can put his little pic board back onto the internet, but not sure if its possible
<Lord_Nightmare>
it looks like he took it down after getting goonrushed from somethingawful back in 2009
