boo, the SFG-05 does not send the AY-3-8910 chip audio through the line out jacks on the unit

this'll make multitrack recording using both the YM2151 in the unit and the AY-3-8910 a bit more cumbersome because I'll have to use the TV out for th elatter but then I can't play both chips at the same time

Well, there is a new clone of the SFG-05 made in Netherlands but it's based on the Russian one, both are just modernization of the design using a fairly large CPLD to emulate the Yamaha SIO chip and glue logic. Yes, there are several carts with extra AYs for the MSX currently but none with the YM2151 atm.

did you see the video I linked of me actually using the one and only piece of software ever written to use a CSM mode in any of Yamaha's FM chips ever?

I would need to go back and see what I was misreading on msx wiki about the audio in port
