CMU only switched to RISC-V in Spring 2017
<fseidel>

Foone: if you or anyone else needs to extract a stuffit file which otherwise would require stuffit running on an old mac, afaik https://github.com/MacPaw/XADMaster (formerly known as "the unarchiver") can extract it
<Lord_Nightmare>
there are windows builds of it floating around too
<Lord_Nightmare>
which can extract resource forks as ._ files

Every now and then, you find a format that a "universal" tool can't handle. E.g. for a while VLC couldn't handle the ancient IBM Ultimotion codec
<Foone>
and ffmpeg can't encode QDesign videos, so I couldn't make an accurate rickroll video in myst without pulling out a mac os 9 machine
<Foone>
I need to get back to that. I was able to put a cinepak/aac MOV into ScummVM Myst but it crashes the emulator after like 3 seconds
<Foone>
err, it can't encode QDesign audio. QDesign is an audio-only codec
