Lord_Nightmare: I meant to ask, when you said you thought you saw something that looked like audio data in the Loopy ROM, was that based on looking in Audacity? Or hex editor?
<HXLNT>
Just curious... definitely new to this side of REing
<Lord_Nightmare>
i was looking at the data in binxelview
<Lord_Nightmare>
audio data has a very specific 'look' to it with moire-like patterns
<Lord_Nightmare>
unless its extremely heavily compressed like mp3
<HXLNT>
oh, wow! i didn't know about this tool... just looked it up
<HXLNT>
from our friend brad smith :)
<HXLNT>
i've seen that "data look" in graphics for sure, heh

HXLNT: Brad Smith/rainwarrior has been in this room before, but not for a long time
<HXLNT>
rude
<cr1901_modern>
Perhaps you could... gently prod him to start idling again :P?
<cr1901_modern>
Nah, not really, I'm sure he's just busy
<cr1901_modern>
He was in the room around the time the VRC7 instrument ROM was dumped
