<Jetfire>
I've tried to rune the make file but get errors and I'm still trying to work it out.

MoeIcenowy: if you're interested, I've got bluetooth working. rtl8723cs can't handle HCI_OP_READ_SYNC_TRAIN_PARAMS while it declares that it's lpm sync train capable
<anarsoul>
apparently it'll be easier to fix it with a quirk rather then requesting new firmware from realtek

anarsoul: I got your 4.19 kernel booted and I see that you have the lima driver compiled into the kernel. I now have a /dev/dri/card0 device. I had to back out all of the Mali.so libs, but I still can't get gdm to initialize. Are you running a desktop on your A64?
<heatfanjohn>
Right now I don't have anything plugged into my HDMI port. Do I need to plug a monitor in?
<heatfanjohn>
I also might have not backed out the Mali.so lib files correctly or completely. Is there a simple GPU test I can run to test out my system?

anarsoul: I take back that lima is compiled into the kernel. I see now that CONFIG_DRM_LIMA is a module
<heatfanjohn>
I can't seem to figure out how to stop lima from loading. I black-listed it but it keeps loading when I loaded the mali driver

in building anarsoul 4.19 kernel, I wasn't able to perform `make bzImage` is that target not available in Arm? If true, this is strange because the Fedora ARM kernels are vmlinuz files and much smaller than the Kernel I built

heatfanjohn_: make zinstall to install compressed image
<anarsoul|2>
heatfanjohn_: anyway, kernel can't uncompress itself on arm64, it's done by bootloader
<anarsoul|2>
so you might as well compress it manually
