yay, found the problem with crust and gcc9. gcc9 is better about relaxing struct alignment, and I had missed an .align on a dword defined in assembly.
<smaeul>
the dword ended up in .data after an array of an odd number of uint16_t, so it was misaligned, and *poof*

smaeul: nice!
<smaeul>
gcc9 gives us 2KiB SRAM for free, LTO gets us another KiB. gcc9 is about 1us faster on SCPI calls (so within the margin of error), but with LTO the mean response during the testsuite is reduced from 165us to 140us

Hi
<sparks1x>
I have a question regarding new revision of pinebook with FHD screen panel
<sparks1x>
What type of DP bridge does it use anx9807 anx6345 ?
<sparks1x>
Or they are fully compatible
geomatsi has joined #linux-sunxi
<MoeIcenowy>
sparks1x: based on my experiments they are fully compatible

There are some difference between pinebook and pinebook 1080p since with anx6345 patch I have black screen
<MoeIcenowy>
sparks1x: linux or u-boot?
<sparks1x>
Linux
<sparks1x>
I didn't update uboot yet
<MoeIcenowy>
carefully read my cover letter

<JuniorJPDJ[m]>

hi, i got bananapi m2m (a33) and i'm trying to make ap6212 bluetooth there to work with mainline kernel, it works with 3.4 but with 4.19 i'm getting "command 0xfc18 tx timeout" or "command 0x1003 tx timeout" depending if i supplied max-speed to bluetooth device tree or not. It seems that reset command executes well since it gets result from ap6212, but any other command yields no response. Everything
<anonus>
else including wifi works perfectly and firmware is loaded. Can you give me at least a clue how I can debug it?
<anonus>
i have a vague feeling that 8250_dw doesn't do hardware flow control but old sunxi-serial does that, is there any way to check that (without an oscilloscope)?

http://ix.io/1skz i've added uart1 rtscts pins in device tree but i'm not sure if it actually did anything

it happens either if i use hci_bcm that uses serdev or if i use /dev/ttyS1 directly with hciattach

bt shutdown pin seems to be asserted correctly because if i change its config ap6212 stop responding even to reset command
