<shenki> has anyone got an old numato sdcard pmod working before?
<shenki> I've tried to get it going on my arty and no luck
<shenki> the pinout appears to be different to the digilient/antmicro one

<_florent_> shenki: not sure anyone tested with a Numato SDCard Pmod (personnaly I only tested with a Digilent's one and with native SDCard slots on boards).
<_florent_> shenki: you could eventually start using the SPI mode and switch to SD mode once known working in SPI mode
<_florent_> nickoe: for you simulation, I think you should start from litex_sim (with the SDRAM module from your board) and integrate your DMA code in it
<_florent_> nickoe: I think you are doing the opposite (integrate your target file in a simulation) and this will probably requires more adaptations.
<shenki> _florent_: thanks for the suggestion

<mikeK_de1soc> If People are interested, I just got the USB to Rs232 TTL cable from Amazon.
<mikeK_de1soc> And it's confirmed to work on my DE1-SoC Board @ 3 megabit download!
<mikeK_de1soc> so loading the linux Image is a lot faster!
<mikeK_de1soc> There are others on Amazon. I got this one because it was guaranteed to work @ 3megabit!
<mikeK_de1soc> Thanks, MikeK

<nickoe> _florent_: so you say I should base it on this https://github.com/enjoy-digital/litex/blob/master/litex/tools/litex_sim.py and fork it for my own project?

<nickoe> _florent_: Can I boot the software with this? "lxsim --with-sdram --sdram-module NT5CC128M16 --sdram-init boot.json" it does not appera to work, as in a reboot or serialboot does not feed it the software.
