sb0: can i use that hydra/nix setup to build a new generic variant? what do i do?
<
sb0>
rjo: just add the .json file and list it in nix/release.nix
<
sb0>
then those are built automatically every day, or with manual trigger
<
rjo>
sb0: ok. then push and out come conda packages (and nix packages)?
<
sb0>
I wrote an installer script for the conda packages
<
rjo>
the conda board packages?
<
sb0>
it needs a small update to handle the sinara-systems builder
<
rjo>
hmm. they are not uploaded to the anaconda repos.
<
sb0>
if you install bash with conda (or is it installed by default?) then that script should run
<
sb0>
yes, the anaconda.org repos doesn't work very well with CI and also makes the conda dependency solver slow
<
sb0>
hydra has no issue managing lots of builds, and the installer script works around the conda/anaconda problems
<
rjo>
but for the release builds we should still upload to conda.
