<phoebes> I would like to try build p2p lending using stellar. Is this right approach?

<jed> Phoebes: yeah it would be good for that

<rippledigital> Hi all. Just curious what the design decision was regarding the simplification of the accounts after the upgrade? Where is the functionality to, say, add a new currency-type (IOU)?
<stellar-slack>
<rippledigital> The "wallet" (account viewer?) is remarkably simplistic, but e.g. on the main Stellar website (e.g. Explainers section) there's still a lot about gateways, issuing currencies, etc.

<phoebes> Jed. I think that p2p lending fits stellar model of reputation. I already build a centralized prototype but I think I need decentralized solution to get people that believe in decentralized systems. Security is a other thing because I don't want to operate a hotwallet and be constantly attacked for such reason. Can I get like 25 minutes from somebody from stellar team to create actionable plan?

<jed> Rippledigital the functionality is still all in the protocol but someone needs to make a client that exposes it unless you want to use the api directly
